Ajax Form with MS Access Database

Hello all,

I hope your forgive me for posting here if this is not the correct place. I am a little frustrated because I’ve been on the Internet for about 3 hours searching for information on creating a Ajax form with a MS Access database. I guess my Internet research skills need more work.

I found some examples using php but I don’t want to use php. If possible I want to use Ajax, JavaScript, HTML, and of course a MS Access database. I’m looking for examples of how to post the data to the database and then how to read it.

If someone could show me how to basically take a form with something as simple as two text boxes and submit the data to a database then show how to correctly pull the data back. I would be forever grateful.

I am looking for the simplest explanation possible.

Thank you

@TheBearMayMar 18.2008 — The issue you have is that Javascript doesn't have a way of accessing a database which is why all the examples you'll find are going to have a server side language to do that portion.
