What kind of menu is this?

Looking for code examples of this menu style I’ve seen creeping up everywhere.

[url]www.amazon.com[/url] (click on the see all 35 categories)
[url]www.microsoft.com[/url] (click on quick links)
[url]www.lowes.com[/url] (click on a product)
[url]www.nbc.com[/url] (click on shows)

It looks like a rollover menu with an animation for size and disappearing. I looked on dynamic drive and didn’t see anything that resembled this, and I used the search function, but couldn’t find anything. I’m working for sample code that I can use and learn from. I don’t know enough on my own to piece this together.

@JMRKEROct 18.2006 — Looks to me like a fancy one-tier drop-down menu using CSS formatting.

Try looking at the code via 'view-source' of your browser.

The external linked files are usually available on the same server page.

Try modifying the code from 'dynamic drive' but set the width and height values bigger.

All attempts are worthwhile, even if the don't work, as they tell you what doesn't work!

I think its the same thing but just use mouseover instead of on click
