I visited a site earlier this week and when I had my pointer over the hosting company image a box appeared displaying all their info.
the box was defiantly styled and I no it wasnt flash.
@WebJoelFeb 26.2008 — #-Not the same as [I]alt=""[/I], -you must be talking about a "tool tip box". This is html that is handled by CSS.
Bascially, a link that contains a "<span>" that is made "display:none;" for the a:link state, and "display:block;" and positioned for the "a:hover" state.
This is why it is helpful to post an example of what you are asking about. ?
