iframe reload in IE

Hi everyone.

I’m making a web page with one iframe. The iframe has images and text about market evolution. It reloads every five seconds in order to present all the information almost in real time.

When i use firefox, opera or safari (i develop in a mac), if the images or the text are the same, the iframe doesn´t change, it does nothing. The user really doesn´t see any change.

The problem is Internet Explorer. When the iframe reloads, all the content -images and text- dissapears for a while and then comes again. So the user see how the content is appearing and disappearing every five seconds.

How can i explore the new information and if different make an iframe reload?

Sorry for my bad English. Thanks a lot.

Luis.

@KorFeb 25.2008 — You haven't told us how you do that refresh, so it is hard to guess what happens without a code.

You may use AJAX request to refresh the information. Nor you need an iframe form that, it could be a simple DIV inserted in your document.
