I am trying to get this code to work.

I would like to have a small window open on mouseover each city.

Just enough room for a small pic and a description.[/QUOTE]That code is looking for an element with id 'layer1', which is not present. To do what you want, you must install onmouseover and onmouseout handlers into each area of your map.
