Javascript window move & resize techniques?

Hello,
I am wondering how best to implement javascript resizing and moving of a window. Currently I have a regular html link to a page that uses the following code:
<script language=”javascript”>
<!–hide from older browsers
this.resizeTo(875, 320);
this.moveTo(0,0);
//–>
</script>

It seems to do it’s job ok…but the problem is that the users window then wants to resize itself to those dimensions for all websites after that…until something or another happens that resets it.
Either way, I’m looking for a window resize method that does not affect the browsers dimensions after being launched. Is this possible in JS? If not, how is it possible?

Thanks in advance,
-Daniel

@NatdripAug 10.2006 — try:

[CODE]var originalWidth;
var originalheight;
var original_x;
var original_y;
window.onload = function{
get and set all originals
Then set yours
this.resizeTo(875, 320);
this.moveTo(0,0);
}
window.onchange = function(){
this.resizeTo(originalWidth, originalheight);
this.moveTo(original_x,original_y);

}[/CODE]

hope this helps
