@Compguy_PeteJan 17.2008 — #Publisher can make "stuff" that will go on the web however I'll put it very simply that it was never intended to go on the net...
Then with the understanding that not everyone has the knowledge and or ability to do it with proper html/coding. we go on... and hope for the future that this experience will create a desire to learn more about webdesign.
If you would like some better methods than publisher to do this please let us know and anyone here will be more than happy to share their ideas on this subject.
In the last couple editions of publisher they have been adding more and more web related tools to the program... you can add hyperlinks and other relationships between pages.
To create a hyperlink simply highlight the block of text you want to use as the link and rightclick on this hightlighted block of text. then you'll see a menu option talking about "hyperlink" and proceed from there.
Once your done with the page you'll use the "Save As" feature to make your HTML type pages, by selecting .html from the file type drop down list.
if you need more help please feel free to post back your exact issue your having... when using Publisher for websites.
@BruteauthorJan 17.2008 — #I got the publisher file to become an .html file but when I uploaded it to GeoCities it put it in its format any ways so it kind of defeated the purpose.
@Compguy_PeteJan 17.2008 — #Hummm... what version of publisher are you using? I'm pretty sure that it's been an option for the last couple versions of the program.
