Mass Commercial Website Builders vs freelance Web Developers

Hello All,

I was just wondering what people’s thoughs were on commercial website builders like Intuit, 1 and 1, etc, etc. Me and my father are just getting started in web development and one concern that we both have is that these Commercial Website builders (which only charge a small monthly fee to host) could potentially take away a lot of the easy business out there. It seems like any small business that wants a Brochure site can use one of these website builders, and for very little cost, come up with an effective website that satisfies their needs. Are freelance Web developers generally concerned about the continued growth and expansion of these website building services????? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

@loomfenixJun 17.2019 — Off course such giants like Wordpress, Wix, Shopify, Godaddy and even small builders like Tilda or Mobirise take our place. In any case, website building isn't stamped process. Serious entrepreneurs usually don't deal with website builders as they want their site would look unique. A lot of people know how paid templates of WordPress look like.
