Form field contents reset

Hi

I have a form on a website checkout that is set to pre-load users’ details in to the contact detail form fields if they have made previous purchases from the site.

In this case, I don’t want this function – it’s important that the form is empty on each visit and doesn’t contain previously-entered information. I have been advised to use Javascript to reset the form field input values to null – but can’t find a suitable script anywhere to do so.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to how, when the user gets to this checkout page, any pre-filled information is forced out of the form fields by Javascript?

Thanks!
