Floating Problems: Very frustrated with IE…

Hi folks,

I did this Map with Mapbuilder.net and applied some css to it, but when it’s rendered in IE 7, the Float property doesn’t work correctly, it’s good in Firefox, like always?, but when it comes to IE 7, oh boy..Maybe, I’m doing something wrong, would appreciate any help regarding this matter…Thanks and God Bless….

@toicontienJun 15.2007 — Try giving the .Vid class zoom: 1; in your CSS. This will force IE-Win to render that element in hasLayout mode. The .Vid DIVs are the containing blocks for the OBJECTs. Also, add display: inline; to the CSS declarations for the OBJECT tag inside the .Vid DIVs. IE6 will double the left margin on them otherwise.

@luke2125authorJun 15.2007 — Hi toicontien,

I tried what you suggested, but still nothing......Any other thoughts? I can't stand IE.....And to think I used to be in love with it back in the days, but when I was introduced to Firefox and open-source, I saw the light........?

Thanks and God Bless.....
