I want to make a template. I have outlined my template and completed all my paper work. Now I want to put my plan into action and create the template. Now problem is that I don’t have much knowledge to create a template, which is very much attractive. If any one have a perfect knowledge of making a template or anybody know any site which can help me then please guide me. It’s urgent.
Thanks.

@KDLAMay 16.2007 — It's best to design a webpage according to your capabilities, not according to something sketched on paper. Else, you'll just end up really frustrated, and with really lousy code.

As to a "template," that could mean lots of things: CMS template, blog template, Dreamweaver template, FrontPage template, etc. To receive advice on making a template, you'll need to decide what program and/or method of scripting you're going to use first.

@bennett_UttaMay 17.2007 — Well as you have completed your entire outline and paper work now better you start implementing your ideas as soon as possible and start making a template. I would suggest you look for professional help. I found some creative and professional M.S. Word template provider at http://www.templatesforbusiness.us this may be very useful for you.

@Major_PayneMay 17.2007 — What ever you do to make your templates, try not to use Micro$oft's Word as it is a code blogger unless you know how to strip the excess code from the page.

For someone just getting started, I would get a simple free template that looks like what you want to use and modify it according to your layout made or go to CSSPlay or similar site and pick out a CSS which will make a one, two or three column layout for you. Your best bet is to use a simple WYSIWYG editor like NVU (Google for it). Will allow you to do a lot while you can see what you're doing without writing a bit of code. Suggest you look at code source to learn and read some HTML tutorials. We can provide lots of links for this.
