Web Idea needs assistance

I am developing a web idea where I would like registered users to have the ability to create an Audio Profile of themselves and (somehow)load it onto the web site themselves. Since everyone doesn’t have a microphone hooked to their computer, I thought they could call a voicemail-to-email number and have their recording files sent to my web site, via email, where they could then (somehow) load it onto the web site. Visitors to the site could then click to hear the Audio Profiles of these people. Any thoughts on how this could be accomplished? Maybe a PHPBB set-up with audio file attachments or something? Can you help me or direct me to someone (or someplace)who may be able to offer guidance? Thanks.

@treelovinhippieFeb 26.2005 — You'd probably have to set something up with a telco of some sort to do that. And I wouldn't exect it to be cheap.

@PeOfEoFeb 26.2005 — I would try to keep this simplistic. What you propose will not only be expencive to setup, but it is going to use a lot of bandwidth too.
