PHP5, Apache 2, Windows 2003

Hi!

I tried install PHP5, Apache 2 in Windows 2003.

However so far, I couldn’t configure PHP correctly with Apache.

I followed instructions available in the web, but still the same.

If anyone of you have correct procedure of doing this please let me know.

If you're trying to develop server-side code, not for some biggy site, I suggest you download WAMP (Windows, Apache, MySQL, PhP), or else LAMP if using LInux. It auto-configures on its own..... ?

I wasn't aware about WAMP until got your post. And it seems to be perfect. Thank you very much for your information.

I just want build a web based app using PHP, on Windows 2003 server, connected to a LAN. I.e. It is a LAN application, so it will be not big.

Further one thing, I need to use Ms Access for my database, I have codes for it. I guess MySQL installation will not trouble Access handling.

Well, .mdb files must be changed to .csv in order to be imported by MySQL. I am under that impression. I also used MS Access databases changed to .csv files, and they seem to work well.

Still I couldn't test WAMP because the dialup connection at my home is very slow & failing. I'll get it tommorow & I m waiitng to test it.
