Search & Highlight and IFrame problem

i am implementing a search and highlight script. but facing a little problem.
search and highlight works fine when there is no google adsense iFrame on page.

var bodyText = document.documentElement.innerHTML;
document.documentElement.innerHTML = doHighlight(bodyText, ‘textToSearch);

when i pass the bodyText to a method and do some modifications on it and then assign a new value to innerHTML the google iFrame reloads itself automatically. as iFrame reloads itself so the modifications(highlight search terms) removed and fresh code comes to iFrame.

please help me solve this.
in case of browser search feature, although it modifies the iFrame but does not referesh iFram
