Menu
hello guys,
I am new to this forum and I am working on a website, now I have a specific problem. I do not now anything about java script porgramming.
I have used a little programm to make a menu with rollover effects (which contains two .gif files of every button, one .css file and one .js file).
I am using different folders to have a better overview of my page.
the problem is:
I have the websites main folder (Website) this folder contains the Index.shtml.
then I have some other sub-folders like: (Website/menu/ = this folder contains the gifs, and the other menue files). now the menue works just fine in the Index file.
and then i have some pages in another sub-folder (Website/folderA/folderB/)
and I have the same html code in this sites like the Index file is written with.
but the menue won’t load the rollover images on the sites in this subfolder.
after some hours of searching and trying, I figured out that the problems are neither the links nor the .css file. so I took a look at the java script, which i don’t understand mostly, but i found two lines with these commands:
“LoadSrcImage(‘menu/1_0.gif’)”
how do i change the link this way that it will load the images from any other subfolder? relative to the main folder “Website”. like a html href=”/folderA/folderB/example.html” command???
