web host for mysq+php

not exactly sure where this thread should be put..

what do you guys think the best/fastest web host is? i really dont need that much space but it does need to support ~10 mysql databases and php. if there is a host that specifies in fast mysql databases then that would be perfect. currently i have a godaddy account but thats pretty slow as soo many people are using the shared servers.

it also needs ftp access.
