Database link

Hi,

I am still learning many of the wonders of Web Building but am very able with HTML etc. I am currently building a simple site and I want to insert prices on several pages that may change from time to time. It would be useful just to have all of these on a database and then for the site to dynamically update without having to manually change every page – what is the best and/or simplest way to do this?

Thanks!

@KDLAMar 26.2007 — Either PHP or ASP, depending on the type of platform your web server runs on. Just Google either one of these, and you'll come up with loads of resources.

Good Luck! ?

@lj2007authorMar 26.2007 — Well the server is asp enabled - not sure about PHP - which is easier? I dont have a personal server on my machine so will asp be tricky?? Have googled all morning but it is all quite confusing and just need to narrow down exactly what sort of thing i need to be looking at and how complicated it is going to be!!
