How can anybody add his site to google serach no 1

I was just wondering… is there any way to add my site to google search ranking 1. I mean that Suppose. i have a site xyz.com.
when user enter xyz in the google search engine he will see xyz.com in the first search match. Is there any Coding technique to do that??

    to rank well is links and ANCHOR TEXT

    Take this example: "float left" and look to google at the first page.

    with just one word, this web site rank well.

    (example from webproworld forums).
