changing styles names

i was trying to set a style name using JS in a div tag

This is what i have

var style
New_Style=”display:none”
</script>

<div id=”Temp1″ style=”display:none”>
XXXX
</div>

I want replace the style in the Div with the New_Style

I have a timer. and after 1 sec i want display a div.
