IE& Dashes Disappear JavaScript menu

I am developeing a site with javascript dropdown menu items.

[url]http://www.macbiocom.com/website/index.html[/url]

Under the research navigational item the second item is

GMX15-070 (obatoclax)

However the characters after GMX i5 disappear.

I am also the webmaster of this site:
[url]http://nitromed.com/index.asp[/url]

Under BiDil there is a fly out menu and the same thing is happening in IE7, but we are fione everywhere else.

Does anyone know what is going on?
