does google follow self.location.href ??

I have been reading up on frames and search engines on the net and there is a lot of conflicting info and how googlebot works

basically does anyone know if google will follow self.location.href

There are a lot of comments to suggest as soon as the robot sees this it stops crawling the rest of the code on that page and therefore none of the info from that page will ever display in a google search

Is this true??

I know it would be better for me not to use frames on my site, but if I can get google to index my main pages i would ideally like to still use the frames

@felgallFeb 05.2007 — As far as I am aware, Google and all the other search engines just ignore any javascript completely.
