label set inside input fields

hi
I’ve seen this in a website (of a different language)
and I can’t figure it out

the input fields of a web form contain text as labels.
-once you click on the field the text(label) vanishes.
-if you click into a new field, the label of the previous field reappears

I imagine this is done by JavaScript

anyone know how to do this

thanks
