how to get the points

i am having 2 select boxes. In one select box different countries are there, and in second box values range from 1,000 to 40,000.

countries are categorized into 5 types, and the values in second box are differentiated (i.e., for each value it has some points)

for example, if i selected a country as INDIA and value as 4,000 then i can get 25 points

countries are divided into 5 types based on there priority(i.e., developing countries and developed countries……..)

for developed countries, if value=16,000 then they get 5 points.

for developing countries, if value=2,000 then they get 5 points.

how to get the points?
