Whats the best way to choose a domain name that gets alot of hits?

Hi,

I am having trouble deciding on a domain name for my site. My first atempt was to use ovature and type in the largest single keyowrd for my site. the I checked for doamin availablity from the top keyword(s) phrases down and registered the keyword phrase with the most hits that was available. Is this a good idea or is there a better way?

@LeeUAug 17.2006 — sae has the best idea. Remember, it's a bit like brick 'n mortar sites. In the end, it's not so much the address as it is what's available there. (Believe me, I have seen some lousy businesses in places like Palm Beach and Beverly Hills.) If you have what people want, use a domain name that will tell them.
