redirect problem in php

I want to redirect in php but i don’t know what is the problem

header(“location: http://www.yahoo.com“);
?>
It returns “headers already sent by output started at….”
what is the pro

@boeing747fpAug 02.2006 — that error means that your page has some sort of output above that header() line.... you cannot have any HTML "echo"ed or "print"ed nor can you have HTML above your <?php tag.
