window.open in Full Screen enters Infinite Loop

Hi all,
I am developing an application that requires the Index Page to be opened in the Full Screen Mode, the one way of doing that is to call the javascript function to open the window in Full Screen Mode in the BODY onload () event.

My Script is,

<SCRIPT language=”JavaScript”>

function fullScreen ( theURL )
{
window.open ( theURL, ”, ‘fullscreen=yes, scrollbars=auto’ ) ;
}

</SCRIPT>

My HTML Code goes as follows,
BODY onLoad=”fullScreen ( ‘Index.html’ );”>

This page runs into and Infinite Loop,
Can someone please help me to solve the problem ?
