Hi, I’m new to this site. This is my first post.
I hope that you will not get sick of answering my questions. I know very little about web development. I would like to make an online site for my town. I’d like to have a search, some type of forum, I’d like to have pictures on the front page that I can add to and have them rotate through continually. I’d like to have links to cool sites, to have profiles of people, and business.
So I presently have two questions. 1 What program do you think I should use flash MX, Dreamweaver MX 2004, front Page, or HTML in notepad?
2 I tried the Google site and web search that was recommended on one of the forums on this site, but I can’t seem to get it to work. I copied it to my page and inputted my sites name like it asked. But when I search it does not find anything.
As well I forgot to add that I bought a template from monstertemplate.com, But I’m having trouble with the flash I can’t edit it in Dreamweaver MX 2004, or front Page.
Any help would be great, thanks again.
