Hi,

Am just starting to get into PHP and realise for databasing with this you need mySQL… Is this the best way to go? Using these too… I’m on a Mac and just want some advice about which would work the best for me…

@CytaelJun 05.2006 — PHP has lots of fun, built-in functions for working with a MySQL database, and I've had success using them together, though I'm not really certain what other options are available. I'm also not a mac person, so I can't be too much help there.

@ray326Jun 05.2006 — There is no hard linkage between PHP and MySQL. PHP can talk to a lot of DBMSs. That said, if you google for mac php mysql you'll find a lot of info.
