[Problems] Pasw Protected

i want to put an pasw on my webpage (1page)
where i can give people an Name+pasw to log in
Anyone here that can help me ?

@Little_GoatMay 24.2006 — well, that either takes htpasswd or a server-side language. if you do use htpasswd, you will still need a server-side to add people.

Question: why is this in CSS?

so anyway, you need two files: .htpasswd and .htaccess and yes they do start with a period. you might have a hard time naming them that though.

this is a tool that creates those files for you: http://www.clockwatchers.com/htaccess_tool.html and on the sides there are links to pages that tell you what you can do with these files.
