W3C’s archenemy

(steps on soap box)

Blogger.

As much as some of us bash MS, and some other compaines, I think what Blogger has done earns them the “evil” title. Hey, let’s put horrid code in the hands of thousands! What makes it bad is that so many of these people are everyday people and all they really care about is the fact that their site looks good. They don’t really want to take the time and get their hands dirty and learn enough about their code behind the site to do the things that need to be done. If they did they would see that they end up manually doing things like updating their blog and that kind of defeats the purpose of using Blogger, ya know. So I say Blogger is evil. If you are going to mass market a web design tool, at least look at the W3C standards and look into using them.

@spufiauthorJun 04.2003 — I understand that Blogger isn't the only one, but Blogger is the McDonald's of online journals. Sure there's a ton of them where ever you look. It still doesn't mean there's quality underneath the bun. So to speak.

@Robert_WellockJun 04.2003 — Hmmm, that's what happens when Paper Tigers are set loose and masses people think it is cool to have online journals.

It's the same with web browsers....
