I have several web sites on windows 2003 server running IIS6. These are setup in the normal way according to the Microsoft instructions.
Using Dr Watson, it reports that the website was redirected to another page which is [url]/default.html.
In Google, a search of my page title returns a listing for the domain name and an indented sub listing for the redirected page, as above.
I am having trouble with my Google ranking and am concerned that this redirection may be hurting my ranking, or that Google may interpret this as a duplicate or identical page and penalise my ranking as a rsult.
I want to know if I can prevent this redirection from occurring or being visible?
I am not using meta data or javascript to cause the redirection, it is being done by IIS6.
