Hit counter question

I’m brand new to this forum, so if there is a post already about counting how many people visit your web site just let me know. I work for a church, and it does have a web site, and the Pastor and I want to start counting how many people visit our site and I looked at the free counters but they want to linked to the internet, and I update the web site every month. So if some one could help me out I would be very apprecitive. ?

@CharlesOct 23.2009 — Check with your server provider. Servers keep logs and that information may already be available to you.

@donatelloOct 23.2009 — I like Google Analytics.

VERY EASY to implement.

If you want a visible one, you can do it yourself with PHP.

You can also get one on your page from places like Bravenet, but they have all their branding all over it.
