Overlaying text & images

First time here. Using wedding ribbon as an example, I would like to have our customers be able to pick a ribbon color, pick an imprint color and enter their text, then have the final image appear as their final product. We also do glass mugs, and I would like to have the customers text appear on the mug as if engraved. We also do engraved wood photo frames. I have seen a few other web sites with this feature.
