By accessing and using Web Developer ("the Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provisions of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by these terms, please do not use this Service.

These Terms of Use apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service, including our website, newsletter, and any associated digital content.

You must be at least 18 years of age to access or use the Service. By accessing or using the Service, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.

Web Developer is a digital publication providing tools and resources for modern web developers, including an email newsletter to keep you informed about our upcoming launch and future updates.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Service at any time without prior notice.

When you subscribe to our newsletter, you agree to:

  • Maintain the security of your subscription
  • Accept responsibility for all activities under your subscription

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, for any reason, with or without notice. You may terminate your use of the Service at any time by unsubscribing from our newsletter and discontinuing use of the Service.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. Sections 4, 7, 8, 9, 12, and 13 of these Terms shall survive any termination.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time at our sole discretion. We will provide notice of any material changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.

Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

13. General Provisions

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful, void, or unenforceable, that provision shall be deemed severable and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of the remaining provisions.

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Web Developer regarding your use of the Service and supersede any prior agreements relating to the Service.

Our failure to exercise or enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.

You may not assign or transfer any of your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent. We may freely assign or transfer these Terms without restriction.

14. Legacy Platform and Discontinuation of SATS Program

Web Developer previously operated as a community platform that allowed users to earn SATS (a sub-unit of Bitcoin) through participation. That platform and its associated SATS rewards program have been permanently discontinued as of the relaunch of the Service.

All user accounts, SATS balances, and associated data from the prior platform have been retired. Users who met the minimum withdrawal threshold and submitted a valid withdrawal request prior to the discontinuation of the prior platform were processed accordingly. Any remaining SATS balances that did not meet the minimum withdrawal threshold or for which no withdrawal request was submitted are forfeited and no longer redeemable.

By using the current Service, you acknowledge and agree that the prior platform's terms of use, rewards programs, and any associated benefits no longer apply and that you have no claim against Web Developer related to the prior platform or any unredeemed SATS.
