The select
tag creates a drop-down list, most often used in a form.
The name
attribute is required in order for the data from the <select>
tag to be submitted with the form. The id
attribute associates the <select>
tag with a label. <option>
tags within the <select>
tag provide the available options for the drop-down list.

should should automatically get focus or not.
disabled
Designates whether the <select>
should be disabled.
form
Designates the form id that the <select>
belongs to.
multiple
Designates that more than one value can be selected by the user.
name
Provides the name of the <select>
element.
required
Designates that a value must be selected before the form will be submitted.
size
Provides the number of options that are visible in the <select>
tag.
