<main>

The main tag wraps around the main content of the document. The content inside it should be unique and not be anything that repeats across documents (like sidebars, navigation menus, etc.).

Syntax

There should only be one <main> tag per document, and it should not be inside any of the following: <article>, <aside>, <footer>, <header>, or <nav>.

  <h1>Title of the document</h1>
  <p>Introductory paragraph.</p>

  <article>
    <h2>Article title</h2>
    <p>Content of the article.</p>
  </article>
</main>
