image-orientation

The image-orientation property designates a correction to the orientation of an image that is independent of the layout.

Syntax

This property should only be used to correct the orientation of images that were taken with the camera rotated or scanned rotated.

img.rotated {
  image-orientation: from-image;
}

Values

none
No correction is applied and the image will display with the encoded orientation or as other CSS properties specify.

from-image
Default value. The image is rotated by using the EXIF data contained in it.

initial
Sets the property to its default value.

inherit
Inherits this property’s value from its parent item.
