border

The border property is shorthand for border-width, border-style (required), and border-color (in that order).

Syntax

If border-color is not set, the color of the border will be the color of the text of the element.

Values

border-width
Sets the width of the border. Default value is “medium”.

border-style
Sets the style of the border. Default value is “none”.

border-color
Sets the color of the border. Default value is the color of the text of the element.

initial
Sets the property to its default value.

inherit
Inherits this property’s value from its parent item.
