How to hide content for mobile

Hi – I have a site (Propress.co.uk) where I have used css code to hide certain parts of the homepage on the mobile view. But I was doing this to improve page load speed but I can still see in the hidden content in the source code so I presume I am not speeding it’s loading up. It’s still there just not visible, and if it is still there it is taking time to load right? Is there a way you can hide the source code from browsers/Google so I CAN get a speed benefit?

@sibertFeb 23.2024 — First. WordPress is not the simplest way to make fast web sites.
Second. Hiding by CSS, does prevent loading.

My advice is to first fix the overall limitations and error in your site on desktop.

And reduce the number of plugins if possible.
