Firefox WinXP shows different than Firefox Mac

Well, I am actively back on creating web pages. Thought I wanted to rearrange my current hobby website, so I took a WordPress theme I hacked some time ago and am now trying to make it fit some more static pages.

Funny thing though is, that the general layout of the pages are different, even from Firefox WinXP to Firefox Mac. Do not mind the fonts – they are not yet fixed and looks odd on Windows since I am creating this on Mac.

Questions:

  • 1.

    Can someone tell me why the entire page content dances a bit back and forward when clicking on the links through the page content (FF WinXP – not FF Mac)?

  • 2.

    When I open the bookmarks pane in FF Mac – the page footer (or the rest of the page content) splits away a tad. How come?
