Combine Multiple Elements?

Ok, i need to know if there is another way to combine multiple javascript elemet (variable/text) into a single string, without using “concat()” or the “+” sign. Any help is much appriciated.

I have experamented with the join() function, but im pretty sure that is only for combining a string of the same variable.

oh btw, ex of what i am trying to do is…
location=’www.MYSITE.com/blah.php?x=[a]’
where “a” is the varible i want to add to the end of the stinge. remember i cant use “=” or “concat”

@phpnoviceMar 12.2006 — Why in the world would there be a restriction on using '+' concatenation?

var str = 'www.MYSITE.com/blah.php?x=[%]';

str = str.replace(/%/, a);

self.location.href = str;
