PHP installation on webserver

Hi I rent webspace for hosting my website from domain direct. to I have downloaded php and know I need to upload it to my webhost.

I’m reading through the instructions that came with the download. all is says is to “upload to the server that you rent” . the rests of the instructions appear to be if I had my own web server

seems to simple.

Any pages that I create which folder do I save it to

@aaronbdavisMar 07.2006 — uploading it tot he webserver won't do any good unless you have access to the configuration files (for apache, this is httpd.conf). If you have that, the instructions should tell you what lines need to be added to the config file to make the pages parse properly.
