New – with hopefully not dumb question!

? I’m having difficulty finding an answer to what I think is a reasonable question:

I want to design a revamped site for [url]www.mvbwn.org[/url] – I’d like all the formatting I do for the membership page to be done using php — is that possible? I found a cool html template that has a main box for text and then three small boxes under it in a row that I’d like to put the phone/email/website in separately; without keying each in – I also have recently taken over the groups’ database and want to be able to import member updates instead of keying everything twice (or more).

I know this sounds like it should be a simple question – cannot find answer anywhere so have not started the php tutorials I purchased until I know if the dream can become a reality! 😮
