weird html 4.0 table conflicts, maybe you can help?

wow this is strange! look at the table border at [URL=http://www.loveandstabwounds.com/studio.html]www.loveandstabwounds.com/studio.html[/URL]

I want the border color to go around the thorns! yet with the same exact code at the index.html works. only thing i changed in studio.html was added another <td> very weird!

oh i forgot to mention. I’m using I.E just so you know. not sure if firefox or netscape can view the bordercolors….???

it's just a simple tag how could it not recognize this?
