Anymore Message Boxes?

Hi

I’m relatively new to Javascripting. I need to know if besides alert, confirm and prompt message boxes there are other types also.

My problem consists of displaying a message box with the button text as “Open” and “Download” on click of another button. Moreover the icon/image that gets displayed has to be customized one (a light bulb, like a hint).

Also.. How do we get that Error message box, the one with a red CIRCLE with a white coloured cross in it.

IMO, d alert method should be overloaded. Its powerful but underutilised

VBscript can customize modal (message) windows, but that will only work in IE.

Thnks.. will try that.. though it wud help if u wud link me up a starting site to luk up for tutorials..
