Im trying to make a game with javascript, and I need to be able to write and read files, and this can be done easily enough with ActiveX Objects, but writing the code isn’t the problem… ActiveX just doesn’t work…
It’s enabled in IE, but I get the same error “automation server can’t create object.” It just doesn’t work…
I’m on WindowsXP Home SP 2, everything’s updated, I downloaded the ActiveX CP, but it still doesn’t work.
