W3c validator

I received these errors using the W3c validator, but the colors work fine on my website. Why do they report errors and what should the colors be to be the same?

@felgallMar 03.2006 — Proprietary tags that one browser supports which are not part of the standards are reported as errors by the validator because:

  • 1. They are not part of the standards

  • 2. They will not work on browsers other than the specific one that it applies to making your page look different in different browsers.
