load a link automatically in a frame

I’m sure my problem was discussed already in this forum but I do not find an answer to my problem.

On my homepage I have a page with two frames ( a top frame containing many links and another frame, which is the mainframe, where the links are loaded). I would like that one of the links ( and always the same link) loads automatically in the mainframe when the visitor visits my page( my frameset of top frame and mainframe). Do you have any hints & tips how to do it?
My guess after a long forum search is that I have to use a javascript ( which one???) and change the <body> tag into something like <body onLoad=frameset_mainframe=link to be loaded>
Where to find a tutorial that explains this html tag?

If I understand your request correctly, this requires no JavaScript. You merely specify the url for the desired page in the SRC attribute of the mainframe FRAME tag in your FRAMESET document. This is normal HTML design and operation.
