ahother try

Okay, I put it differently: ?
suppose I have a domaine called “music with rocks.com”
and I want to add a subdomaine all abaout cheese.
I understand, the subdomaine will be called something like “music with rocks-cheese.com”, is that right?
And will search machines be able to guide people who are only interested in cheese to this page?
In other words, is it reasonable to create a subdomaine with an entirely different subject to that of the “dominant” page?

@welshFeb 28.2006 — it kind of depends, subdomains generally have something to do with the main domain. also i though subdomains where like cheese.musicwithocks.com, generally people use it for like a forum or chat or something that is easy.

@binkyauthorMar 01.2006 — This is exactly why I am so doubtful. Only my interests are plenty, my website is quite big (10 subdomains) and I don´t want to buy a second domaine.

Also it is so much fun to create a site. And there is very little of my subjects on German pages.
