Site Registration w/ Forum & Online Store

Hi all…

I’m looking at starting an Online Store where users will only be able to purchase items once they have registered. In their registration I’d like them to be able to have an avatar and a profile, and to be able to use these on the site forum.

Currently I’m looking at purchasing

[url]www.x-cart.com[/url] – for my online store transaction and

[url]www.vbulletin.com[/url] – for the forum

what i’m wondering is how do I go about synchronising all these things?

What scripting language do I use to create the registration database with all of it’s options and how do I bring the software into this. Or is there software avaliable that provides a one stop solution.

I’m quite new to this and it’s a sizable project so any help that can be offered will be greatly appreciated.
